Darwin, Jefferson, Edison, Tesla, and Einstein viewed their outside worlds through the intellectual lens of autism. The autistic person is trapped 24/7 in his/her left frontal lobe (intellectual, analytical) with no ability to access whatever may be happening in the right frontal lobe (emotions, social connectivity). That is why autistic people speak factually, with no trace of emotion, and with a deadpan facial expression.
Autism is a neurophysiological anomaly in how the brain processes information. A malfunctioning cingulate gyrus (CG), that part of the brain which focuses attention, creates a perpetual state of hyperfocus: intense mental concentration fixated on one thought pattern at a time to the exclusion of everything else, including one’s own feelings.
